Speech is silver, silence is golden. Especially when you’re someone who loves to be alone, silence is not a punishment but a treat.
We are traveling around all day long, surrounded by many people. Many noises. Many distractions. Some people feel at their best while being surrounded by many others. You can easily get lost in the crowd and let yourself be taken away to places beyond you never knew existed. Others, however, are not so comfortable in those crowds. They feel better all by themselves. Being able to set their minds off of the things that distracted them lately. They are able to do that better when they are completely alone.
For them, silence is golden. They need a place where they can come to rest and be completely alone. A walk on the beach, at nightfall, or during sunrise… A walk in the woods, far away from civilization… Those are the times that they feel at their best.
This does not mean that those people are shy, or afraid to be with strangers. They just need personal space and time, more than anyone else. They are constantly searching for those places. Places where they feel at their best, where they are alone, and where they can set their minds off from distractions. It’s during those times that they are able to create brilliant ideas. Let their creativity be the boss of the moment. For them, silence is golden.
