No man’s sky, A village under the stars, chapter two: welcome to the neighborhood.
Building a town takes time, that’s something that Zandr had experienced intensely over the last few weeks. But finally, he had managed to create a part where people could be feeling home. Their own place under the stars, where they could share their lives with others who might even become friends.
When he overlooked the part he just created, Zandr felt proud of himself. The fact that he was doing this for other travelers and civilians, made it all worth the efforts he put in over the last couple of weeks, and this wasn’t even the end of it. Merely the beginning of something special.
Over the past years Zandr had been traveling a lot and had combined it with building houses, this was partly the same as he had done back then, tho, it was a bit more challenging. Creating the houses was one thing, but they needed to be connected to each other, and so this was building on a next level for him. It did however gave him a good feeling, and the chance to continue growing and developing his skills.
By noon, Zandr took a break at the village, which gave him the opportunity to overlook the town as it was right now. Seeing the pictures from the very beginning and seeing it now, the comparison was huge to him, tho it looked perfect in his eyes. “Let’s hope that it will attract villagers who decide to be a part of this town.” He thought.
He got back up and went back to work to finish up this part so that villagers could get everything they needed right here.
In between he took the time to reflect on the things he had build and take some pictures for his archive, and when the evening started to fall he finalized the last details of the village square. He took another look when he was finished and felt proud of himself. “Let the village be filled with happy owners!” He said softly to himself, then took a seat at the saloon and stared with not-seeing eyes in front of him. Wandering of in his dreams, Zandr gained an apart feeling in his chest. A feeling of gratitude.
