A village under the stars, chapter five: The Etely Mountain Lighthouse.

With the bridge up and running, and connecting the village with a part that sooner or later will become a great add-on to Etely Mountain, Zandr felt excited. Everyday he walked over the bridge from one side to the other, to enjoy breathtaking views, and delightful sceneries.

Yet, he still found that there was something missing inside the bay. Something that could’ve been used as a guard to the village.

“What could possibly be the answer to this issue?” Zandr asked himself, while he was standing in the middle of the bridge, overlooking the bay, the village, and the waters surrounding it all.

His sight stopped at one point that seemed familiar to him. A tiny little island rose from the water, calmly taking the waves at its equally tiny beach.

For a moment Zandr wandered off in his thoughts, staring with dreamy eyes to the island. To him it was familiar because he tried to build something upon it once before. He never had thought back about building something on it again, but now he felt that this was destined to be happening. This was why the island was there, at that exact location.

He shook his head and came back into reality, then headed straight to his ship and flew to the island. When he landed there, he didn’t hesitated a second. He placed the base computer and started working on the picture he had in his head.

The island itself was small, so naturally this building was not going to be big, and after one day of hard work, putting in all his thoughts, his powers and his soul, the new addition to the village was already up and running.

Etely Mountain now had it’s own lighthouse guarding the bay.

While the sun was gone long ago, Zandr had been watching at the lighthouse from many different perspectives. Now he was back at the village square and was overlooking the entire bay with pride. This small, yet perfect addition was a masterpiece. Or at least that’s what Zandr thought about it.
