Take some personal time.

When you feel depressed and empty, take some personal time. A moment for yourself to relax and put everything in perspective. Everything that happened recently and made your mind wander off in the wrong direction.

Go to a place where you feel good. A place that fills your heart with happiness. A place you can relax your mind and figure out what’s going around inside your head. Where you can come at peace and reflect on everything that affects your thoughts. A place where you can take some personal time.

When you’re at that place, take a seat and just let your thoughts flow. Which of them are there, bothering you, and which of them are not able to be fixed? Those ones, you need to give it a place in your mind where you’re certain that it would be good for you to come to peace with it. An event that happened recently, the loss of a loved one, things that bother you since high school or kindergarten… They are the reminders for you, that you’re capable of living through them because you’re still here after all this time. Take that up into you as a power source and use it as a weapon for the future.

Other things that might come to mind when you’re sitting alone and reflect your life, are those events that made you feel good. These reminders are automatically power sources on their own. You can use them as a weapon too, in case you’re fighting against depression or so…

Always remember that everything will turn out exactly as you planned it if you just keep following your own dreams, your own plans, and your own life. As long as you can do that, you’ll come out stronger every time.

And when you are alone in a beautiful place, look around you and think: “I’m lucky that I’m able to do this.” it’s your life, live it the way you want it.
