Promise down is not an unknown name in Herentals, and especially not in music venue  the Roxy. They have played a set on Roxyfest 2025, outdoors in the summer with beautiful weather. Now, they play indoors and it’s snowing outside. Could the contrast be any more different?

Promise down has returned now for the release party of their new album, and brought along friends from the United Kingdom; bang bang firecracker and white coast rebels who joined in all the way from Spain. 

Bang bang firecracker opened the stage straight from the start with some heavy headbangers. Ideal to get the crowd pumped up for a night of heavy music. 

For being just three men at the stage, they bring an absolute blast of performance for the crowd. With heavy bangers that go from breakdown worthy metal moments to straight forward fast speed banging to make the crowd run wild. This band has it all.

After a British opener, there’s a Spanish follow up. All the way from the west coast of the Spanish grounds, they traded their sun and warmth for the Belgian weather. And they definitely got it all the way with snow falling as they were setting up. 

White coast rebels is their name, and they underlined it perfectly in their opening of the set. Their first song instantly made heads bounce up and down through the crowd. A voice that sounds like one that is familiar in the genre, combined with great riffs and straightforward beats are their perfect ingredients to get the crowd pumped up, if they weren’t already by their British predecessors. 

The headliner of this evening is no stranger to the audience of Herentals. They have played gigs at the same place, but in different environments. Now they are here to release their new album and they do so in their own perfect way: hard and heavy. Back in the days that was just a rack in the local music shops. Nowadays it’s becoming an industry standard. And promise down delivers that with great performance and quality.
