Whatever happens in the wolrd, music unites us always. The COVID pandemic had us all trapped in our houses, making sure we were not able to get out of the door except for essential reasons like grocery-shopping and, if possible, going to work. For two long years, people have been craving to go out and have some fun, instead of just sitting at home doing nothing more then annoying yourself, your parents, your partner or your kids.
Rise Against frontman; Tim Mcllrath, even spoke next words about this pandemic: “It’s been a long two f’ing years and we’re happy to finally see our fans back in real life and connect with them again on another level.”
Luckilly we have the modern day technology on our side, which gave artists a whole other view on playing songs in front of the audience: doing quarantine sessions. These versions of their own songs gave us, the fans, a unique view of how artists live in real life, while not being on tour or in the studio recording.
So without further ado, here’s a ‘small’ selection of the many songs that gave us hope and courage to continue going on.

Some people decided to bring covers from iconic songs back to live in their own ways, to remind us that music unites us always. Some even created a whole different version of it, complete with new lyrics and stuff:
Journey – Seperate ways
Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody. (Coronavirus rhapsody parody)
Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) even dedicated an entire set of songs to this, called: Lockdown sessions. In these sessions he works together with many other artists.
In conclusion: There has been lot going on in the world in the past couple years, but we have gone through it with courage, strength and possibly music. Let us not forget that, whatever happens in the world, there always be a solution to everything. Even when things seem most dark at the moment, remember that there’s light at the end of every tunnel. And keep your music going, just by listening, playing recording, whatever it is you do with it; Music unites us all and that’s why it is an important thing in our lives.
