New beginnings.
First and foremost I want to wish all my readers the very best for the new year.
2024 had been a year with ups and downs, and it made me realize that there are still some unfinished businesses wandering around inside my head. It also made me realize that I hadn’t had too much time to work on this blog too.
Therefore I made a special decision in the last few weeks and today I’m going to share the future of this blog with you.
When I first started writing, my intention was to write fictional stories. It’s that one thing that made me fall in love with writing in the first place. Since then I’ve been experimenting on many different forms of writing. The music blog, containing band interviews, album reviews and news from the music industry, was the very first breakthrough project I started up. It learned me more about interaction with an audience on a very different level than fiction first did. Therefore, you all have my eternal gratitude.
The skills I was able to develop in terms of writing are all thanks to an amazing audience that embraced me immensely.
Now, after four years of bringing music influenced articles to you, I have recently came to terms with my own personal life. It made me realize something. The way I was able to write down my own thoughts and emotions into stories were a great way of letting my heart out. It’s what I started with in the beginning and during my latest vacation I came to realize that I truly missed that part of writing.
Currently working as a fulltime technical writer, also pushed me further away from what I’d love to do mostly in writing: storytelling.
So now I have made a decision. In order to keep writing in a good way, I had to let go one of the writing tasks I was doing before: blogging about music, or my job. Of course it would be silly to give up my job, because it pays the bills, so therefore it is with a little bit of a heavy heart that I have to announce that the music blogging (the reality part of it) comes to an impermanent halt. Meaning, for an undecided period of time I will stop doing band interviews, write down album reviews, or news articles about music.
That being said, the blog will continue to exist. This time of course it will be seen from an entirely different perspective. What you can expect here in the future are stories. Fictional stories. The biggest project you’ll be able to see here will be a reworked version of my second book: Casa Musica. That one will be the main course of the new version of this blog.
Further on, there will be other fictional stories pop up here too. All of them will definitely be still music related, that to keep the blog’s main purpose alive. After all, music is the reason I started this baby in the first place.
I truly hope you all can respect my decision and that you’ll all will be able to give me a chance to let you discover the stories that are running through my mind.
