Cathubodua is an epic symphonic metal band from Belgium that brings you more then just their music. Their songs tell tales that can bring shivers to those who listens to them. Not only do they do that on their albums, but also on stage they bring an extraordinary atmosphere with them.
It’s clear right from the start that you will be dragged into an epic adventure once you hear the first notes playing and it’s certain that you cannot escape from it.
We’ve seen them perform in Hell, Diest, Belgium. They played a set that was filled with enchanting melodic tunes, straightforward drums, and the epic voice of a powerful female singer.
As soon as they had started playing, they got the crowd with them, that was certain. They didn’t even had to take too much of an effort for that either. Their performance level and their stage skills certainly did that for them.
About halfway through the set however, there was a moment in which the music transformed into a musical masterpiece in which the voice and the violin were the central parts. Only to transform back into the heavier stuff, and by doing that they certainly left the traditional Cathubodua mark.
If you were not enchanted already, you definitely would have been during their brilliant performance.
