Swedish post-rock legends; EF is back with a new album.

We salute you, you, and you! Out Now!
After five years of radio silence, the band has finally returned with new music. EF is known for its inspiring, tale-telling, getting lost in your thoughts,-kinda music, and with this new album they bring back the chance to do all that again.
The album, unlike some of its ancestors, surprisingly starts off with drums, and symphonic melodies, at a somewhat heavier pace. This way the band is able to surprise their listeners.
something else that comes in sooner than expected is the voice of a great male vocalist. In the past, EF had created songs with less, or even no vocals in them so this is another reminder that the band has not been silent after all in the past few years.
The heavier pace, at which the album started, continues its flow in the next song. This, however, gets interrupted suddenly to make place for a dreamy part. Slower-paced music, combined with instrumental sounds in the background makes you wander off in your thoughts instantly.
Throughout the entire album, the voice is heard more often. This is certainly a sign of the band that they thought it was time to do a couple of changes. These small changes got instantly perfected to show the band’s maximum capacity. After all, that’s what EF is absolutely well known for; bringing nothing less than perfection in every album they gave us.
As I myself, am a Belgian citizen, The fifth song on this album gave me pleasure and joy. Why? Because the track is named after a historical city back in my country. ‘Leuven’ then also gave me shivers and not only because of the name of the track but also because of what they musically put into the song. Personally, for me, this could easily be the city’s anthem.
But it’s not only this song, to be honest. As said previously, EF has brought us yet another album that is rated highly in terms of perfection, joyful music, and also music that makes it possible for you to empty your thoughts. It is, after all, what the band is well known for; creating music that gives you shivers and/or good vibes. You can easily hear that in the epicness they put in every song. From the very first tone to the end of the album, EF has again brought us a masterpiece. A piece of their own brilliance.
