While Queen Elizabeth II passed away last year, no one was expecting that the second queen was going to pass away too. We talk of course about ‘The Queen Of Rock and Roll’; Tina Turner.
Tina was known all over the world for her performances in the rock and roll scene. As she boomed her career as the lead vocalist of Ike and Tina Turner, she became famous with hits like The Best, Private Dancer, and What’s Love Got To Do With It.
Born as Anna Mae Bullock, on November 26, 1939, she was given her artistic name Tina Turner in 1960 by her partner: Ike Turner. With Ike, she performed for several years, until she decided to launch her solo career after her divorce from her husband Ike. Since then Tina rose further to the top.
Apart from her amazing voice, Tina Turner had many other abilities that she fearlessly shared with the rest of the world. She was also famous for her swagger, sensuality, and naturally her unstoppable energy. With all those capabilities, there was no one else who could match her legendary performances.
The last few years of her life she spent in her newly called home place: Küsnacht, Switzerland. here she passed away softly and finally found her resting place where she could be at rest. After a lifetime of 83 years, uncountable world performances, and a fan base that reached the furthest parts of the planet she was finally able and absolutely granted to depart from life and be at peace with herself. After all, She was simply the best.
