A city under the stars, chapter one: Welcome to the city.
Welcome to Sandy Acres park. The very first thing that came to reality when Zandr started this new project. The building of a city, right in the middle of the desert. A city surrounded by sandy mountains, but also sprawling water surfaces.
The perfect spot for a city, Zandr thought when he first arrived at this place. He hadn’t had much of time needed to start building the city. As soon as he’d arrived here he’d seen a picture of the city rising up from the ground and so he started working on it immediately.
By now, the very first piece of it was already up and running. A big city is nothing without a park, so this was something he really needed to build first.
The park then also quickly became reality and Zandr felt good about it.
After he was finished with this part, the real struggle soon came in too. Connecting the park and everything with each other. Therefore Zandr started working on a road system too as next leg of the project. He soon realized that this part wasn’t going to be easy because of the rugged terrain.
After a while he did found a solid way to work this part out too and therefore the first thing that he wanted to do was create an entire road network, before he started working on the buildings that needed to become part of Sandy Acres too.
“This road network is a challenging job, and it might take a whole lot more time to get it fixed.” Zandr said, when one evening he said in the park after an exhausting day of trial and error. He did however was certain that time would tell him exactly how to proceed and that gave him the hope and courage to go forward with the plan.
This city needed to become a pearl in the desert, and therefore it also needed the time and space it would take to become reality. That was something that Zandr was certain of.
